This design was adapted to the existing terminal building, by using the original materials and colors and creating aw unitary image. According to the required functionality this proposal linearly continued the existing terminal. This is obtained by repeating the structure’s rhythm and extending every floor level to the new platform. Passenger itinerary and baggage optimization together with the use of natural light, energy efficiency and sustainability were key elements in this extension design.
